ABOUT HOMESTEAD

Turauskai Homestead is situated in Dzūkija Nacional Park, 14 km from Druskininkai, on the banks of the splendid Nemunas River, near Liškiava, Village of Žeimiai, surrounded by forests full of a variety of mushrooms and berries. The clean and refreshing air will enhance your serenity and leisure.

We strive to satisfy the needs of all our clients. The homestead is modern and comfortable – suitable as much for quiet family recreation as for organising more formal family celebrations or various conferences.

A large functions room accommodating 100 people awaits you. It has an outside terrace and a remarkable view of the Nemunas. About 70 people can stay overnight at the Homestead on any given occasion.

There is a large swimming pool with tables and umbrellas; for outdoor barbecues there are 4 pergolas with fireplaces. The children will not be bored, since there is a designated play area for them.

There is an authentic Dzūkian bath-house with a tub, a sitting room and a cosy terrace.

Those who like active leisure will enjoy our basketball and volleyball courts, as well as rafting or canoeing on the Nemunas. An especially enjoyable aquatic pastime is going for a ride in a speedboat!

For those with more patience we recommend the unforgettable experience of fishing in the Nemunas River or collecting mushrooms or berries in the forest.

Your eyes will be attracted to the fallow deer and rabbits quietly grazing in the enclosures.

Clients can order tasty dishes incorporating farm-grown venison or rabbit.
